Her Story
Kristen, a world beater in the making, embarked on her artistic journey from a tender age. Under the tutelage of the esteemed Pittsburgh artist, Meredith Watson Young, she was introduced to the captivating realm of art and expressionism. Imbibing wisdom from Young, Kristen was propelled towards Rogers CAPA Middle School, where she delved deep into the visual arts, preparing herself for a future that would surpass expectations.
With unwavering determination, Kristen secured a spot at the prestigious Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA), where her artistic prowess flourished. Exploring diverse mediums and styles, she honed her talent, leaving an indelible mark on the art world. Noteworthy galleries, including The Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild and the Andy Warhol Museum, showcased her captivating artwork, a testament to her extraordinary gift.
Fueling her creative fire, Kristen expanded her horizons and ventured into the captivating realm of architecture and design. A recipient of a Bachelor of Architecture from the renowned Robert R. Taylor School of Architecture at Tuskegee University in 2011, she immersed herself in the three-dimensional world of artistic expression. Further enriching her knowledge, she earned a Master's of Science in Sustainable Design from the esteemed Catholic University of America in Washington, DC in May 2013.
